By accessing or using the Web Media Deduplicator website and tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
Web Media Deduplicator provides a free, browser-based tool to scan local directories for duplicate image and video files. The scanning, hashing, and organizing processes occur entirely client-side (in your browser) without transmitting files to our servers.
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Web Media Deduplicator makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the service or the accuracy of the duplicate detection algorithms.
Please back up your data before using this tool. While Web Media Deduplicator is designed to safely move or organize files, software can occasionally produce unexpected results.
In no event shall Web Media Deduplicator, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, file corruption, or accidental deletion of media, arising out of your use of the service. You use this tool entirely at your own risk.
When using the Native File System Access API (available on Chrome/Edge) or executing Fallback cleanup scripts (on Firefox/Safari), you are solely responsible for granting the correct permissions to the correct folders on your device.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after any revisions become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
